So normally I don’t post photos I haven’t taken, but I just loved these so I have to. I found these photos posted on a blog (Lyla and Blue). They are great! =) Okay, after taking the Photo Criticism/Theory class that I have a final for on Wednesday (….yes..it is that miserable time of the quarter….), I realized that at the time the second photo was taken, everyone probably thought that it sucked because it was “blurred” (this was considered really bad technique at the time). Or maybe they just thought it pushed boundaries? But I somehow don’t think so. Anyway. Whalah.
I mean aren’t they just so great?! Like check those out! The first was is awesome! Love that idea! And the second one, welll its just straight up gorgeous. ( “Accident at Michigan Central R.R. depot, Detroit.” 8×10 inch dry plate glass negative, Detroit Publishing Company.) It’s 8×10″ dry plate glass negative! no wonder why its gorgeous!
