Final Project ~ Rough Draft

So, tomorrow my camera is being sent to canon where it will be repaired for free (woop woop! no damage to the sensor) =) Buuut that also means im camerless for my final project in my Digital Imaging class. So i decided to only use scans and photos I’ve already taken (and photoshop of course). This is kinda what I want to do for my final project. I don’t know exactly where I’m going with it, but yeah. I’ll figure that out the more I experiment. I don’t know how many I want to make of it, or how I want to present it. I think I want to print it on watercolor paper so its textured, creamy, and slightly matted. We’ll see how that looks.

 

Dead Animals

Okay, today is such a nice day! The sun is out and its warm (well, “warm”)! And I even got somewhat enough sleep! =)

This last weekend I went home. Most of Sunday I drove around taking pics for an assignment, but  David showed me this area where there are tons of carcasses of dead cows and stuff. It was so cool! Okay, some of you may be grossed out by the photos I’m about to post below this text, but yeah. I just think it was cool =) We also found a dead eagle. Its wings are massive!

 

Neglecting duties

I have been neglecting my blogging duties! Haha as many of you have reminded me multiple times =) I’m going to try and get back on it! Unfortunately, in these few moments of free time, I don’t have any recent photos with me =( (my external harddrive is in my room, where it will remain for the next 4 days untouched until I return from Raymond). And there are always my thoughts! And I think a lot. Too much sometimes. The last couple days though thinking has been good. Sleeping though is a problem when you are thinking, even if they are good thoughts. Hey! Today’s Valentine’s Day! I kind of forgot =) I should have picked up some chocolate somewhere. I mean sugar is a must I feel like on V day =) I did buy myself some primroses the other day though for my room. Two shades of pink. Blush and bashful 😉

Plans for today:

Soooomehow live through 2.5 hours more of classes. (I seriously dont know if I will make it…I finished all my work early….)

Catch the bus to Amtrak. (and hope that it’s not raining too much)

Wait for my 5:30 train to arrive.

Board the train.

Sit for 1 hour. (hopefully my stinky TOMs don’t permeate the whole place)

Sit for .5 more hours with my stomach fluttering looking at the time every 2 seconds. (I’m a little excited to be going home. My stomachs already fluttering because I want to be on the mooove) =)

Get off the train. It’ll be dark by then.

Help!

Okay I have to make a website by like tomorrow, just a quicky one. It has to have 4 “galleries” of photos (just 4 groups of photos. And I dont know what to do! Cuz I dont want it to be a lot of work, so just a quick little theme (no more than 4 galleries and not much text). Help! ANyone have any ideas???? Email me.

 

this was the quicky one i didnt have time to finish making (so all the pages have wrong info). And I can do whatever on each page, so just cuz it has a google map on it doesnt mean i have to do that.
